MELANIN & MILES TRAVEL PODCAST

This week we interviewed Malia. Malia is a 20-something travel creative based in California. When she’s not binge watching Love Island or working with students in Higher Education, she’s off exploring the world! During her time at Stanford University, Malia spent time living abroad in Cape Town, South Africa and Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Frustrated with the lack of critical conversations in the travel social media space, Malia founded @alikaadventure with a focus on mindful travel - applying the social justice themes of equity, access, and accurate histories to our travel behaviors. Listen to Malia talk about her study abroad adventures, @alikaadventure, and future travel plans in this episode.
